Uzbekistan is a Central Asian nation and former Soviet republic. It's known for its mosques, mausoleums and other sites linked to the Silk Road, the ancient trade route between China and the Mediterranean. Samarkand, a major city on the route, contains a landmark of Islamic architecture: the Registan, a plaza bordered by 3 ornate, mosaic-covered religious schools dating to the 15th and 17th centuries.

The student hostel has a capacity of 500 beds. In the students’ hostel all the conditions are created, including: heating system, hot and cold water, washrooms, toilets, rest rooms, vegetable gardens, fridge washing machines separate library for students, sports hall, spiritual enlightenment rooms and kitchen for dinners. There is a mini-field for football, a volleyball court where students can spend their free time. The amount of payment for accommodation in the hostel is ($ 100 - 200) per year.
